OMG--Hollywood stars are just like us???

Why is it news when Hollywood Stars are snapped looking just like you and me? Let's just agree that looking "Hollywood fabulous" is an illusion and enjoy it for what it is: a fantasy, a silly game, a diversion from the sometimes irritating and exhausting day-to-day life routine.

Do I care if Jennifer Lawrence stepped outside without makeup looking like a --GASP--a normal young woman?!!? Perspective folks--in the photo on the left she's having a day off. In the photo on the right she's at work as a --NEWSFLASH -- Hollywood actress.

Of course, there are those of us who are just naturally elegant and gorgeous. Check out this photo of me putting out the garbage last Monday morning.

Some of us are stunners without having to really work at it. But like Samantha Brick wrote--Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.  Poor dear has suffered sooooo much but is hanging in there. Read her poignant tale of being just too beautiful for people to understand!!

  1. Whoa...I just read that Samantha Brick article and I'm speechless.

  2. It astounded me as well especially since I found her a fairly average looking woman. Tne idea that every other woman in the world is as insecure and shallow as her was equally astonishing. The Twitter responses were hilarious even if they were mean.

  3. Hi She, and even those "beautiful" photos of the "beautiful" people are retouched to the point of immorality. i mean taking away a woman's normal post birth tummy pouch. what is the message there?!
