Stepping off the right track

Being on the right track doesn't mean you're on the right path in life.
A track is a circular road that doesn't deviate and leads nowhere.
It's followed easily without thought, one foot in front of the other, over and over.
Sometimes you need to step off the right track.
To watch.
Catch your breath.
Just don't get stuck.
Constant motion is as dangerous as constant stillness.
Connect the dots in your life, question your motives, listen to your heart.
Find out what you are meant to be doing in life and then do it.
If you don't have the answer to this question then take that as your first signpost.
Turn the pursuit of happiness into finding meaning in your life.Consuming doesn't bring you long-lasting satisfaction or happiness
Being on the right track won't guarantee you a fulfilled life.
There is power in doing what you're meant to do while visiting Planet Earth.

  1. Indeed! With a side of a big hug :-)

  2. You're so right, Shelagh. We're all so busy we barely have time to think - or dream - anymore. Tonight I think I'll turn off the computer and lights a little earlier. Thanks for the food for thought.
